            The Special Exhibition “When East Meets West: A Variety of Royal Treasures at the Wang Na” exhibited in Issaret Rachanuson Residence between 2nd July -31st August, 2014. This exhibition has the purposes to present King Pinklao’s Biography is a position of the second King of the Kingdom of Siam that the time when Siam was entering a period of great change at the moment the country is facing the entry of international Western Hemisphere, trade to the missionary and political causes that had been effects and the changes, which led to the development of Thai modern later period.

             Special exhibition Thai Heritage Conservation Day in Thailand 2014. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the Conservation of Thai Cultural Heritage. and Museuns Archaeology and History: Following in the Footsteps of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
           In 1985, the Council of Ministers announced that it would commemorate the birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn by declaring Thai Heritage Conservation Day. This was done to praise H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn as a model of creativity and Her Royal’s Highness’s initiatives in conserving so much of Thai national heritage for future generations.

Special exhibition on the eve of Thai Museum entitled “ The Memorial to Jira Jongon”

          During 12 September-30 October 2014,  the Bureau of the National Museum had special exhibition entitled “The Memorial to Jira  Jongon” at front section of Siwamokkhaphiman Royal Hall. People can be viewed without charge.
          The exhibition is held to honor  professor Jira  Jongon, the first director of the National Museum division. Disseminate the management of the National Museum of Thailand, Developing by the standards based of Museology. She was the founder of Thail museum affairs to growth and progress well known in international museum and step up to the leadership in regional level.

Siwamokkhaphiman Royal Hall
Originally established in 1982, has since transformed into an exhibition room showing the history of Thailand "Thailand on  the past,"  Siwamokkhaphiman Royal Hall was built at the first stage of the Front Palace construction, by order of H.R.H. Prince Maha Surasinghanat, the vice king during the reign of King Rama I in 1782. Initially, it was a smaller wooden pavilion without walls, smaller than  the hall in nowadays. Creating a character modeled from “Shooting Royal Pavilion”
